Resourcing together

CTEEL is the sponsoring body for Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) Churches, joint co-operative schemes, Workplace Chaplains and Citizens UK in Essex & East London

LEP churches come in a variety of forms, but each is a situation where more than one Christian denomination is working together under an agreement sponsored by CTEEL.  Links to each of the Local Ecumenical Partner Churches in our region is still under development.

These are in the main categories of LEPs but join mission can take on may different forms.

  • Single Congregation Partnerships
  • Congregations in Covenanted Partnerships
  • Shared Building Partnerships
  • Chaplaincy Partnerships
  • Mission Partnerships
  • Education Partnerships

A Flexible Framework for Local Unity in Mission can be viewed here and is helpful when considering ecumenical arrangements between denominations.

If you need guidance on matters of governance, there is helpful information on the Churches Together in England website here.
